What if I have a geared bike and I cut the cable and hardwire it into gear?

That is fine too. That has been done in the past. As long as you are locked into one gear.

So, how does one find this thing to attend? Is being psychic a prerequisite or is there a map *or even words telling me where it is*? “Portland” is just a touch vague for me … but maybe that is my engineer brain …

Sunday’s Race will be out at Portland International Raceway at 4pm and the Saturday Qualifier has not been announced and will be in a couple of weeks. There is a party Saturday night which is part of the Oregon Manifest http://www.oregonmanifest.com at 7pm We will be putting up a schedule of events in the coming weeks. Thanks! You won’t want to miss it.

Is the schedule of events up anywhere?
I want to fly in, but can’t buy a ticket until I know where and when to be where and when the cool shit goes down!
Anyone know?

I suppose, the countdown timer would suggest 11/7 8am… is that the 1st race?

There will be a schedule posted for Saturday’s events next week. I would just fly in on Friday evening so you can get ready for Saturday! It will be epic!

Dani,
I know you addressed this above, but is there a chance you could give us a hint about Saturday? (even the start time…). I don’t need to know the location..
Reason being is my daughter has a soccer game and I may need to coordinate to get her to the game if I am qualifying on Saturday at the same time.
thanks!

Also, one more thing… is there a field limit? (97 riders already registered…)
thanks,

We are trying to nail down some important details, but we are hoping for an afternoon/evening showdown this year. It depends on some things, but I should know in the next week.

im confused about sunday. if we registered for sscxwc, are we racing in cross crusade #7? is that a separate event? are we racing in both? i see that the ss race for cross crusade is at 1pm, but sscxwc is at 4pm. what if i want to race in cross crusade as well…do i have to pay a separate entry fee?……..soooo…..im still confused.
makes it hard to make plans for those coming from out of town. any more specifics/details you can share on the schedule? pretty please?

also, another dumb question…
this www site says that the address for Portland International Raceway is 8131 N Interstate Ave, but the Portland International Raceway website says its address is:
West Delta Park - 1940 North Victory Boulevard
Portland, Oregon 97217
which one is correct, where is the race?
Dani

Hi Onespeed,
We have always held sscxwc the same day as a cross crusade. Some people race both races and you are welcome to do that. Just know that you will have to pay for the cross crusade race separately. I will look into the address. Thanks and we will see you this weekend!
